Singer and songwriter Dave Johnson, formerly of the popular local band Midwestern Lull, will be performing a mini one-day Paw Paw tour to benefit Eleanor's Pantry, a local food assistance establishment that welcomes individuals and families facing food insecurity living in the Paw Paw and Lawton communities.

The event is set to take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, and will move between 3 different locations.

The performances will start at The Lucky Wolf Cafe (404 E Michigan Ave) from 10 am-12:00 pm, continue on at Taylor’s Florist and Gift Shop (215 E Michigan Ave) from 12:30-2:00 pm, and conclude at Words On Pages Bookstore (200 E Michigan Ave) from 2:30-4:00 pm.

Eleanor's Pantry has elaborated on how 2025 has been for them and their ability to help the community:

This year we have already served more pantry guests than we have over the last several years. At the same time, our donations have decreased making it more and more challenging to meet the needs within our communities. Your gifts do, indeed, make a difference. For every $1 you give, we can buy $10 of food through the Feeding America program.

Johnson is particularly looking forward to this mini Paw Paw one-day tour:

It’s pretty simple. I’m just busking my songs in local shops while customers are doing their Christmas shopping or whatever, and one hundred percent of the tips go directly to Eleanor’s Pantry. People love it, and it’s a great time!
