As the Detroit Tigers continue their rebuild, one of the players making a case to be in Detroit is future outfielder, Daz Cameron.

Cameron is one of the players that was a part of the Justin Verlander trade back in 2017.  Since the trade he has made his way up the Tigers minor league system playing in West Michigan, Lakeland, Erie and now Toledo.

Son of former Major League Outfielder, Mike Cameron, Daz has an exciting future. He is one of the upcoming Tigers that hopefully fans will get to see up at Comerica Park sometime in 2019.

He has had some great plays in Spring Training this year, including hitting a Grand Slam against the Blue Jays.

Unfortunately the team wants to give him more time in Triple A Toledo.  He will play there for most of this season.  Hopefully later in the year fans will get a chance to see him in Comerica Park for either an injury call up or  call up in September.

He is close and it will be exciting when he finally makes the leap to the majors.
