Talking Heads' film, "Stop Making Sense"  turns 35.  The Detroit Film Theatre is celebrating by featuring screenings of the film.

According to the Metro Times, screenings of the classic film will be Today, Tomorrow (November 2nd) 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. and Sunday (November 3rd) 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

It featured the band live over four nights in Hollywood during their tour for the "Speaking in Tongues" album.

The film showcased the bands performance at the time, which included David Byrne's "Big Suit".  Jonathan Demme directed the film that was released in October of 1984.

A classic concert film that you will be able to see once again on the big screen in Detroit.  The Detroit Film Theatre is located in Detroit on 5200 Woodward Avenue.   Tickets for the shows are $9.50.  Students and Seniors are $7.50
