Detroit Red Wings Prospects Playing At World Junior Championship
As the current Red Wings continue to struggle this season, fans can get a look at the future with a handful of prospects set to play in the World Junior Championship.
According to the story from M-Live, the Red Wings will have five of their prospects suit up for the World Juniors.
The tournament starts today in the Czech Republic and will feature Red Wings prospects, Moritz Seider (Germany), Joe Veleno(Canada),Jared McIsaac(Canada), Jonatan Berggren(Sweden) and Jesper Eliasson(Sweden).
Seider was the Red Wings top draft pick this year and along with Joe Veleno have been playing in Grand Rapids with the Griffins.
McIsaac has been injured and only recently returned to play with his junior team in Canada. Berggren and Eliasson have both been in Sweden.
Along with the current Red Wings prospects, some of the top possible draft picks for the upcoming draft will be in action. A good chance to see some of the future Red Wings in action.
