Jase, from Josh and Jase fame, recently found a Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup champion jacket while thrifting in England.

While the two of them were in Michigan, they were able to experience everything from Grand Rapids to Traverse City, the Upper Peninsula, and eventually Detroit.

While they were here, they also made a stop in Detroit, and we were able to make it to a Detroit Red Wings game before heading back to England. But recently, Jase was out drifting in Manchester when he stumbled across a super cool jacket that celebrates the Red Wings' rich, winning history, as he posted on his Facebook:

I can’t believe it… I was just walking around Manchester, UK. When I walk into a vintage/retro clothing store. Guess what I see!!! This Detroit Red Wings jacket. Of course, I had to buy it! $150 later, I’m now representing the Red Wings across the pond.

Someone in the comment section had the perfect reaction to him finding this treasure:

You’ve made the pilgrimage to the Mitten, you’ve gotten the jacket, and now the final step of the initiation process into our Hockeytown family is to grab some popcorn (and a vernors), google “Red Wings fight night vs Colorado Avalanche,” then sit back, relax, and watch the ice turn blood red in all its nostalgic glory.

The Detroit Red Wings have a great-looking team this year, led by their captain, Dylan Larkin, who is fresh off a gold medal Olympic win.

When Josh and Jase were at the Red Wings game, they seemed to be completely in their element. It’s sweet that we’ve got such a big influencer halfway across the world who will be representing the Red Wings as they continue they’re pushed to make the playoffs this season.

Every Sweater Number in Detroit Red Wings History Worn Just Once (Or Not At All)

For whatever reason, these numbers have either been worn just once or never at all in the nearly 100-year history of Detroit Red Wings hockey, according to Hockey Reference.

(Hockey Reference suggests that No. 6 was only worn by Cummy Burton, which is incorrect as Larry Aurie wore the number first and the number is pseudo-retired. Such inaccuracies are difficult to narrow down, so where they can be corrected they will be.)
