There’s a Clarkston man who is going viral and has become a good Samaritan icon in Clarkston after an incident that recently occurred at a liquor store in Clarkston. The man, whom we only know as Grant, recently walked into Dixie Liquor, a new liquor store in Clarkston, Michigan, which opened in February, to purchase what we can assume would be alcoholic beverages.

But upon entering the store, he noticed something was very wrong about his presence there. The moment he walked into the store, there was an alarm going off, and he called out, “Hello?"

He proceeded to stand there and question the alarm, “Is anyone here? Hello? “He began to walk around the store as the alarm continued to intensify.

Am I not supposed to be here right now? The door was open.

As the alarm continued, he realized he may have made a mistake coming in, and that somebody must’ve forgotten to lock the front doors after they closed, saying:

That's not good…alright, sh*t, I'm leaving.

it turns out Grant did just that, and the owner of the shop was so appreciative that he was an honest citizen that he welcomed Grant back during normal business hours, after putting the word out and the video on Facebook.

He gave Grant a small gift for being an honest citizen. But it wasn’t even just Grant, who is experiencing something like this before, and somebody in the comment section had a similar experience somewhere else.

This happened to me once at Pete’s Coney in Pontiac. Sat there 15 minutes like “Hello?” Then like… no coffee, grill is off, lights are off, ummm… and the register was open! Oakland county showed up & got ahold of the business owners, no harm no foul! - Megan C.
