This Michigan Celebrity Is Making A Shocking Appearance In Happy Gilmore 2
One of the all-time great Adam Sandler films is his classic Happy Gilmore film, which just wrapped shooting for its long-anticipated sequel, Happy Gilmore 2. Sadly in real life, Chubs (played by the now-late Carl Weathers) passed away in 2024, so he won't be in the film.
But there are a lot of special appearances that will be making their way into the movie, including one of the most famous people from Michigan getting a special role.
In the interview with Dan Patrick, Adam Sandler told the host that Detroit Rapper Eminem is going to be making a surprise appearance in the film, and really enjoyed having him there:
Eminem was cool. He came by and he was great.
As far as what Eminem's role in the film would be, Sandler responded:
I can’t tell you all that. But I’ve known Eminem for a long time and he’s a great guy. He came in and was funny as heck. I think we just hung out all day with Eminem and he just shot and shot and it was insane. He said a million things we can use and a million things that we’re glad we have him on tape.
Also making a special appearance is Jack Nicholas, as well as returning actor Christopher McDonald playing the role of Shoot McGavin. Ben Stiller & Julie Bowlen will also reprise their roles from the first film as well.
But it'll be interesting to see if Eminem will be playing himself, or an out-of-control character like he did in Car Wash. You can watch the full interview below.
