Ferris State To Play For Division II National Championship
A Michigan team is set to play for a national title This Weekend. Ferris State University made history as they have reached their first National title game.
According to M-Live, the Bulldogs are set to play for their first ever national title in Division II basketball. They are set to play number 3 seeded Northern State (S.D.) for the title in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Saturday (March 24th).
They advanced by beating number 4 seeded West Texas A&M 85-79. The team is the overall number one seed in the Division II tournament and is now 37-1 on the season.
Ferris State is one of the hottest teams in the nation with 26 wins in a row. They will try for one more victory as the final is set to be televised on CBS at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
