We are still a few months away from the warmer weather. It is never to early to look ahead at some of the big shows coming to the Detroit Area this summer.
July 12th: Metallica, "WorldWired Tour" Comerica Park, Downtown Detroit
Metallica will bring their "WorldWired Tour" into Comerica Park this July. Expect to hear many classics and songs from the new album, "Hardwired To Self Destruct". Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat will open. Tickets are on sale and are available at Tickets.com.
July 18th: Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers 40th Anniversary Tour, DTE Energy Music Theatre
The band is celebrating their 40th anniversary with a huge tour that will stop at DTE in July. Peter Wolf will be a special guest. Tickets are on sale now and available at Ticketmaster.
July 20th: Queen + Adam Lambert, Palace Of Auburn Hills
The band that's been selling out stadiums across the world returns to North America for the first time since 2014. Hear all the classic songs with Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert. Tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster.
August 2nd: Roger Waters, Us And Them Tour, Palace Of Auburn Hills
After Desert Trip last fall, Roger returns with a new tour that will feature classic Pink Floyd and his solo work. We may hear new music as he will release a new album, 'Is This The Life We Really Want" in May. Tickets on sale now at Ticketmaster.
September 12th,13th, 15th, 16th, 19th, 20th: Kid Rock, Little Caesars Arena, Detroit
Kid Rock will be the first artist to perform at the new arena in Downtown Detroit. Tickets are on sale now and are available at Olympia Entertainment and Ticketmaster.
