No, You Can’t Get Into Kid Rock’s Michigan Festival with A Catalytic Converter
Kid Rock has easily become a target for people who have called him out over the years for blatantly pandering to whatever audience will pay him the most attention. The son of a wealthy car dealership owner, Kid Rock grew up in a privileged home in the suburb of Romeo, Michigan, but early in his career claimed Detroit as a white rapper.
At one time he and the rapper ESHAM were considered the two biggest rappers in the city. Kid Rock altered his style during the Nu-Metal era to mix in some country and rock before slowly transitioning to the country music audience.
It’s quite clear where Kid Rock stands with his music and political beliefs, as he has been very vocal about both of them throughout the last 10 years. Recently announced that he would be throwing a two-day music festival in Hastings, which would feature Nickelback and Lynyrd Skynyrd, at the Berry Expo Center in Hastings on June 13 and June 14 in 2025.
Many "loyal fans" are asking if there are alternate ways to get into the concert, such as a catalytic converter, or if tickets can be purchased with Marlboro miles. Unfortunately, things like Sudafed and methamphetamine are not legal tender and illegal, nor should they be expected as a way to enter the grounds the day of the event.
The only thing that has caught more heat than this is the Kid Rock tribute band Kid Kentucky, who social media did really dirty when they came to Michigan in 2024:
