Fly Remembers Relatives Over The Memorial Day Weekend
Last Weekend, I attended a couple memorial services for my wife's Grandparents, who both recently passed away. This Weekend with it being Memorial Day Weekend, I wanted to travel to see my Grandfather and Great Grandparents who are buried in Indiana.
My Dad's side of the family is from Indiana. To be exact a town called, Summitville. My Grandparents were married there and now my Grandfather and Great Grandparents are buried there. Summitville is a very small town that is between Ft. Wayne and Anderson.
It was around a two and a half hour drive to get down there. It was worth it as I finally got a chance to share with my wife part of my family history. I'm glad we took the time over the holiday weekend to go.
I hope to get down there again before I have to go for my grandmother, who will be buried there when she passes.
