Former Tigers Pitcher Makes A No Look Stop On The Mound

One of the biggest losses for the Detroit Tigers in recent years has been Pitcher Max Scherzer.  He has become one of the best pitchers in the game and recently made a great defensive play on the mound in the series against the Baltimore Orioles.

I love to see great plays in baseball and I recently saw this defensive play over at MLB.com.   Watch as Max Scherzer of The Washington Nationals makes a great no look stop between his legs on the mound.  He then flips the ball to first for the out.

As the Nationals attempt to win the National League East Division, Scherzer should be a candidate for The N.L. Cy Young Award.  If he keeps making plays like this he may have a shot.
