Gene the Pumpkin Man was one of the most beloved figures in West Michigan. However, when he passed away on December 17 at the age of 88, many people were heartbroken that their fall tradition of visiting him on his farm would never be the same again.

Now the family is giving the people of West Michigan the opportunity to purchase items that belonged to Gene that will help carry on his legacy. There is now going to be an estate sale happening Wednesday, May 14 from 9 AM to 5 PM, through Saturday, May 17 from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The second state is expected to be the first week in June, and will include everything that was in the Barnes, which includes tools, stored in operation, open to the public season, equipment and decorations, tractors, and more. The event page will be updated once more is known about the second sale.
