Geno’s Pizza In Parchment Is Being Sold To A New Owner
Some of the best restaurants in small towns are ones that have been around for a long time and places that people frequent to have a certain personality to them. one of the most beloved pizza places in the Kalamazoo area is Geno’s Golden Pizza and Pub which was established back in 1971 at 113 North Riverview Dr. in Parchment, Michigan just outside of Kalamazoo.
Lovingly known as “The Big G," their menu has featured barbecue wraps, wings, fried foods, Mexican, Italian, baked subs, and of course, their pizzas. The place is basically been a gathering spot throughout the years on a social level too, featuring a full bar and beers as well.

However, tonight is the final night that the current owners can save a special place there, as there is apparently a sale pending to a new owner, and on the We Are Parchment Facebook group, there is a lot of speculation as to what will happen with Geno’s.
From all of the comments made about the subject, it seems as though the pizza place will go unharmed in this transition; however, according to a few people, there is one major change that would be taking place, which is the liquor license.
I think the new owner had like a day left to back out of the deal or something like that, they also will not carry a liquor license when the ownership transfers.
There is one last karaoke night planned for Friday, April 25th, to celebrate the years that they've delivered a loving spot to the city of Parchment.
