This may sound crazy, but I never once heard of or saw a stink bug until I moved to Kalamazoo. I hate to say it, but I feel like I may be responsible for them even existing. They were all over my new apartment when I moved in, and it was awful. The whole place smelled like there was a dead body somewhere inside.

These pesky little critters return every year and every year they give us more and more of a headache. So I wanted to sit out to find the best way not only to get rid of them but to keep them away as well.

With the bugs once again, making their presence known in southwest Michigan, I did find a link to HGTV that listed some helpful ways to get rid of them and keep them gone.

The problem with stink bugs is I feel sometimes one trick works better than others. So first we'll go over how to get rid of them, and the different methods you can try. Then once we eliminate them, we'll go over the ways they've suggested you proof your home to keep them out of your house.

If you're curious too, the stink bug isn't even native to our country, it's an insect native to China, Japan, Korea, and other Asian regions. But In September of1998 it was collected in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where it is believed to have been accidentally introduced. So thanks a lot ya bone-heads.
