Even if you are not Irish, come join the fun!

What started as a cultural event for those of Iris decent has turned into an American celebration.

In honor of the death of St. Patrick, Irish families held a religious feast in the 17th century. Over time the feast has expanded into a variety of festivals for those of Irish descent or not. And now the Irish party is hitting the streets of Kalamazoo! The annual St. Patty's Day Parade is happening here in Southwest Michigan!

The Iris American Club of Kalamazoo announces their plans for the ultimate St. Patty's Day celebration in downtown Kalamazoo! Inventions for the event have been sent out via Kalamazooirish.com

Join us for our 18th  annual St. Patrick’s Day parade on Saturday March 17th, 2018. The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m. on the Burdick street Mall, at Michigan Ave. marching south down Burdick street, turning right on to Cedar street and ending in front of the Knights of Columbus hall.   The parade goes on, rain, snow or sun.

Let's go and enjoy the parade and for one day we can all be a little Irish, or at the very least, celebrate the Irish!
