Grand Rapids Teen Now Has Two Guinness World Records

It's usually an honor to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. Most people who set these records are accomplishing a goal that they set out for, like... most hot dogs eaten in 10 minutes, some kind of track and field record, or fastest land speed record.

But sometimes, you're just naturally born with record-breaking abilities, or, in the case of this Michigan teenager, record-breaking genetics.

Eric Kilburn Jr. is only 16 years old. He's just now old enough to drive a car, but I imagine his family will struggle finding a car that he can actually drive, because Eric is easily one of the largest teenagers on the planet.

This month, he received his SECOND Guinness World Record for his size, thanks to his size 23 shoe. He now holds the record for the largest feet on a living teenager, and not just for his shoe size, but for his feet in general, which measured 13.5 inches long... and he's still growing.

"The doctor who delivered me... he told my parents, in all his years of delivering babies, he's never seen a baby with feet and hands as big as mine."

Kilburn is now 6-foot 11-inches tall, which is still 9 inches taller than his 6-foot 2-inch brother and mom. In fact, Kilburn is so big, he has had to have nearly all of his shoes custom made, and he actually got some of that help from none other than NBA legend Shaquille O'Neil.

Shaq has also been somewhat of a mentor, he said, since some days he struggles to live a normal life, and it wear on him.

Now here's the exceptional thing about Eric, though. Because his feet aren't just the only record he holds. In fact, it's the second record he got, after last year, when he received the record for largest hands for a living teenager. They measure 9.13 inches, which is almost two inches wider than the average teenager's hands.

As much as Eric says he struggles with his size sometimes, he is still very grateful for the attention, and continues to tell people, despite what makes you unique, don't let it stop you from being you.

Pretty smart for a 16-year-old kid... who could also crush me in an instant.
