However, after the third date of their tour, the band was forced to leave the road when guitarist Jake Kiszka and singer Josh Kiszka suddenly caught a severe case of pneumonia, causing the band to leave the road missing their dates in Flint and Ypsilanti, Michigan. While Josh has since recovered, Jake is still resting and on a road to recovery.

Yesterday, the band made an announcement about the remainder of the first leg of the tour, including all of the dates through April 2nd.

We recognize how upsetting this news is and share your disappointment. While Jake has been discharged after being hospitalized for four days, he is still struggling with pneumonia and its symptoms. The healing process is long and slower than anticipated.

The band elaborated on their further plans, saying that they plan to cancel all of the shows through April 1st, which mostly eliminates the remainder of their first leg of this tour.

However, the band doesn't plan to leave fans hanging. They have already rescheduled dates for the Flint and Ypsilanti shows for September 13th & 14th. So, fans can hold onto their tickets or it may be possible to pick some up when people are unable to make the new dates.

Wishing good health to Jake as he continues to rest and here's hoping Frankenmuth's golden brothers are able to hit the road again soon.
