Recreational marijuana is now similar to the use of alcohol in Michigan. Michigan residents and those visiting are allowed to recreationally buy and use marijuana as long as they are 21 or older. This also means there are regulations on how you may use the product as well since it is not just a free-for-all.

The first thing that comes to mind is the storage and use of marijuana while on the move or in public. In the last few years, we have seen social districts open up which allow adults to drink alcoholic beverages in select areas.

I think we're far from seeing anything like this for recreational marijuana. Right now the law says that you must place marijuana in the trunk of your vehicle like alcohol, can't be carried in places like schools and school buses where children frequent, and must be used within a public space like your home.
