Kalamazoo’s Big Plans For 2035 Are Taking Shape Now
By the year 2035, Kalamazoo will look like a very different place in many areas across the city, and that will be thanks to the residents of the city who gave their input to a new initiative that the city of Kalamazoo is implementing.
The Imagine Kalamazoo 2035 Design It! Program is giving Kalamazoo residents the ability to voice their thoughts on important changes the city needs to make.

These changes include improvements to housing, streets, parks, businesses, transportation, and neighborhood spaces across the city, as announced on their website.
We're launching the Design It! phase of Imagine Kalamazoo 2035, the step where the community’s shared vision turns into real, place-based ideas and actions for neighborhoods across the city.
What To Know About The Meetings
Design It! meetings are open-house style, with no formal presentations. Residents can drop in at their convenience to take part in hands-on activities facilitated by City staff. Every meeting includes prizes and giveaways as a thank you for participating.
