Kids Like Carter Love the Kalamazoo Marathon

Did you know a kids run is part of Kalamazoo Marathon weekend? Carter has the scoop on this fun event you just might be too old to enjoy.

Carter's mom Cheryl Pickett is the Operations Manager for Kalamazoo Marathon, so it's no secret where Carter got his love for running. Carter will be running his first 5k at this weekend and he got his career start at the Meijer Kids Fun Run.

Like Aubrey, who we also talked to, Carter is 10 years old; they get started early in the running community of Kalamazoo. His favorite part of the race is when people cheer for him while he's running. So get your kids signed up for their first race and be sure to cheer for everyone on Friday!
