New Restaurant Korner Street Kafè Finally Opens In Bloomingdale
If you were in Bloomingdale, Michigan, and drove past 102 N. Vanburen St., you probably wouldn’t recognize the building. What was once a closed building on the corner of W. Kalamazoo St. and Vanburen St. is now a vibrant and modernized restaurant, which has been highly anticipated for months now.
Korner Street Kafè teased that they would be opening sometime soon, back in April, on their Facebook:

Nestled at a charming corner in our small town of Bloomingdale, our quaint restaurant has undergone significant transformation since we acquired the building in 2024. After more than a year of dedicated renovations, we are excited to announce that we are on the brink of opening our doors. Our menu will feature a delightful selection, including burgers, sandwiches, ice cream, and more.
The big day finally came, and last week they celebrated their grand opening, with appearances by Layman Motorsports, and even held a 50-50 to support the pageant committee and the local fire department, whose proceeds were eventually donated back towards the charity.
The new business took a moment to thank everybody who came out to make their grand opening such a special day:
I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to each and every individual who attended our Grand Opening today! The BSP (pageant committee), Nick, who brought his race car, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. My staff and ALL the customers who walked through the door. I would also like to thank the township for giving us the Buck for Luck.
They are open daily from 11 AM until 8 PM.
