Legacy Table Closes Downtown Kalamazoo Restaurant After Two Years In Business

More unfortunate news to share: Legacy Table, a restaurant that only opened two years ago, has announced it will be closing down at the end of the week, on August 30.

Located at 234 W. Michigan Ave. in downtown Kalamazoo, the owners opened up with the hopes of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for people downtown to enjoy a menu filled with unique items and a good place to hang out, whether it was for a leisurely meal, a quick lunch, a catch-up with friends, or a solo meal during lunch break.

Legacy Table In Kalamazoo Is Closing

Sadly, they’ve announced that after only two years, they will be closing down, as they recently announced on Facebook :

It is with very heavy hearts that we share that Sunday, August 30, will be the final day for Legacy Table. Most of all, we are deeply thankful for the people who have supported us along the way.

They also wanted to thank their customers who were regulars since they opened:

To our loyal customers who came through our doors week after week, brought your families and friends, celebrated special occasions with us, trusted us with your catering, recommended us to others, and simply kept showing up—thank you. Your support has meant more to our family and our team than we can adequately put into words.

They announced that they will be open for their regular hours Wednesday through Sunday for their final week, which is Monday through Friday 7 AM to 11 AM, Saturday 7 AM to 3 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 2 PM for breakfast, and Monday through Saturday 11 AM to 3 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 2 PM for lunch.

Anybody who visits them should be aware that they’ll be using the inventory they have on hand, and because of that, some menu items may sell out or become unavailable as they get closer to closing day.
