A pretty intense and seemingly unnecessary incident was captured on video from multiple perspectives on Monday night from a bar here in West Michigan, the Library Taphouse & Kitchen on the campus of Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo assaulting multiple people.

The incident was captured by Hayden Manyei, who claims the bouncers were being unnecessarily rough with not only paying customers but also his two friends.

In the video, which you can view below, it shows the graphic nature of the altercation, the basis of which has not yet been determined. As Hayden points out, he isn’t sure if the person responsible for knocking out his friend while he was fully secured to the ground, was a bouncer there or not.
Another bouncer I believe came up and punched Tim, while he was already held on the ground, and knocked him out. My other friend Logan was trying to protect Tim from getting hit. After this Logan walked away and was chased and hit by another bouncer for absolutely no reason. Neither Tim or Logan threw a punch but ended up still getting punched and knocked out. This is absolutely unbelievable and extremely unnecessary.
This is exactly why, among many reasons, I don’t even go to bars anymore. I’m glad that that stage of my life is over with, but regardless, this use of force seemed highly unnecessary. At the same time, we have yet to find out what led to this altercation and what ramifications they may hold.
