Llamas. Few animals are cuter and stranger than this South American native. Used for farming and wool production, these adorable creatures from the camel family have made their way north - WAY north. Corky DuBuis with Emerald Green Farm and the Michigan Llama Association is stopping by the Otsego District Library on Saturday, March 23rd from 10am to noon, and they're bringing three of their llamas for you and your family to meet, pet, and learn about. Create a llama-centric craft, read llama focused books, and enjoy llama themed snacks. Learn how these animals helped build an ancient empire and continue to be integral in the lives of Peruvian, Chilean, Bolivian, and Argentinian people. Enjoy a fun, fluffy, and fuzzy time at the Otsego District Library.
