Marshall Motor Fest Is Back And This Year You Can Fly Your Plane To The Movie

Engines will be revving this weekend in Marshall, Michigan, for the return of Marshall Motor Fest for the third consecutive year.

The weekend festivities kick off Friday, July 31st, and go through Saturday, August 1. Families are encouraged to come out for the festivities starting Friday from 6 to 8 PM, where they will be registering cars for the car show on Saturday.

They will also be hosting movies at the airport on Friday and Saturday night, where they are encouraging guests to drive or fly into Brooks Airfield and bring their lawn chairs from 9 to 11 to enjoy Cars 2 on Friday night and Cannonball Run on Saturday night, both free of charge.

Saturday is when things kick off with the cars and coffee preshow registration. There will be Ford test drives and other activities to get into before the crew starts at 1 o’clock.

There are also different competitions like a rockabilly competition and a pinup contest, as well as an after-party, which is being held at Dark Horse Brewery, where the Dark Horse Mustang will be on display. Their Facebook event page is getting everybody geared up for an exciting weekend
