Maybe it comes as no surprise anymore but being Michiganders we somehow feel our reputation precedes us and if if you don't go by just the stats there may be more positive things to include.  Nevertheless, according to 24/7 Wall Street, Michigan has the worst AND second worst city in which to live in the United States.  See if you can guess which ones.

If you guessed Detroit and Flint at #1 and #2 you guessed right.  The ranking is comprised of specific factors like poverty, unemployment, crime and education so this particular "honor" doesn't include any of the obvious positives.  That may sound like a joke but in terms of Detroit, here is a city that is certainly on the up swing despite the fact that the median income is $43,500, the poverty rate is 35.7% and the percentage with at least a bachelor's degree is only 14.9.  As for Flint...well...good luck.  Check out the rest of the info by clicking HERE.
