I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have an "embarrassment of riches" here in Michigan.  How many times have we identified people, places and things that are the best or on the list of best in the country.  Just recently, we've acknowledged from various articles that Michigan has the best drivers, the best place for beer drinkers, one of the best coffee shops in the world, one of the best small towns, one of the best places to hike.  The list goes on and on.

Now, in an article on msn.com, one of Michigan's gems has been selected as one of the best unspoiled destinations to escape to in the nation.  Isle Royale National Park was chosen as an escapist's dream due in part to the fact that you can't get there by car and you'll be completely disconnected from humanity and completely connected with nature.  Check out the other tributes from the experts by clicking HERE.
