The Michigan Renaissance Festival is returning for another fun season, filled with a new theme every week during its 2026 season.
From August 22 through October 4, people from all over the state will be heading to Holly, Michigan, at 12600 Dixie Highway to partake in all of the festivities.
Every weekend will be filled with vendors, entertainment, food, and drink, and a different themed weekend. Tickets are now on sale for this year's season, which includes the following themed weekends:
Pirates & Pups
August 22 & 23
Get ready to hoist the sails and wag some tails at our Pirates & Pups Weekend! Join us for a swashbuckling good time where ye and yer furry first mate can enjoy pirate and dog-themed contests.
Highland Games
August 29 & 30
Cheer on the spirited “Men in Kilts” contest, where competitors flaunt their tartans and charisma, bringing vibrant Scottish tradition to life in a fun, festive way.
Viking Invasion
September 5, 6, & 7
Brace yourself for a thunderous Viking Invasion, where epic beards and bold ink reign supreme! Then unleash your inner warrior with axe throwing, hearty feasting, ancient crafts — and don’t miss Knights and Bikes, where chivalry meets horsepower.
Wonders of the World
September 12 & 13
Experience the magic of the belly dancing contest, vibrant ethnic dances, and a showcase of unique steampunk style — a celebration of cultures, creativity, and captivating performances.
Shamrock & Shenanigans
September 19 & 20
Celebrate Irish heritage with a spirited kilt contest, thrilling Highland Games, lively music, and traditional dance.
Harvest Huzzah
September 26 & 27
Harvest Huzzah celebrates the bounty of the season with autumn-inspired fun, including archery and BBQ competitions, witch-themed activities, costume contests, and festive harvest games for all ages.
Sweet Endings
October 3 & 4
Bid a bittersweet farewell with Sweet Endings. Delight in sweet treats and stunning costumes as we bring the festival season to a close, celebrating one last time with joy and nostalgia.
