World Wrestling Entertainment superstar and also the class of the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame is coming to Kalamazoo for a meet and greet photo opportunity and autograph session.

On September 28 from noon until 3 PM, Mick Foley will be set up at Fanfare located at 4308 S. Westnedge in Kalamazoo. There the hard-core legend, multi-time best-selling author turned stand-up comic and spoken word performer will be at the special one-day event. For individual autographs, it will be $60, and for individual photographs, it will be another $60. But a combo of the two can be purchased for $80 which is a pretty good deal.

Why Is Mick Foley So Important?

In 100 years from now, when we look back at professional wrestling to see who gave the most of themselves for the sake of entertainment, Mick Foley will be at the top of that list. The way I see it, Mick Foley is already at the top of that list.
Being a professional wrestler requires more than just physical sacrifice, but personal sacrifice as well, all done in the name of other people's enjoyment. Mick Foley has put his body and his mind through hell through the performance of his art, and through the sport of professional wrestling.
From being thrown off and through a hell in a cell and countless death matches in Japan, to putting a sock on his hand and becoming one of the best children’s characters ever, Mick Foley deserves all the respect in the world. I am so excited that he’s actually coming to Kalamazoo so that we have the chance to thank him properly for everything he’s given to us over the years.
