As we get closer to the Halloween season, we have been keeping an eye out for Halloween-themed events and haunted houses. That’s when it came upon an attraction at Glenlore Trails in Commerce Charter Township on the east side of the state.
For everybody living in the Kalamazoo area, it’s definitely worth the drive as the experience, entitled Enchanted: A Magical Halloween Experience, promises a unique and fun experience for the whole family as they detail on their website.

Magic awaits in the Enchanted Forest! Starting September 20th, venture into a spellbound forest where the line between mortals and magic recedes. Glenlore Trails presents Enchanted: A Magical Halloween Experience for all ages transformed by wistful wraiths, frolicking fairies, and the weird wayward witch of the woods. Don’t miss out!
What Is Enchanted At Glenlore Trails?
The experience starts off with an immersive night walk through the forest, which is illuminated by fluorescent lighting as a part of their light shows, with Creepy, projections and other surprises along the walk.
There will also be concession stands and food trucks along the way as well as live music during the weekends that they are open From September 20 through November 3rd. You can get tickets here which range from $16-$26. Unfortunately, tickets for children 0 to 3 are already sold out.
Each weekend has its own features and a list of special events that are fit for the entire family. The experience itself will take you about 60 minutes to take part in, and all ages are welcome, except the Adult Only Night special event on Oct. 4th, which is for +21.
