When I was a kid, summer was for non-stop play; nature-filled, down-and-dirty, you-better-wash-your-hands-before-you-even-think-about-eating-dinner, play.  Nowadays kids seem to be glued to tablets, phones, and video game consoles. Summer's not over yet; there's still time to change that.

Nickelodeon, the cable network known for hoarding the world's slime resources, has joined forces with Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation to bring their third annual "Road to Worldwide Day of Play" to Kalamazoo tomorrow! It's time to get the kids up off the couch and outside to play! The Super Slime Obstacle Course, Nick Bowling, and other Nickelodeon-themed activities are so fun, your kids won't even know they're getting fit!  Shhhh... that's between you and me...

It's all happening at the Kalamazoo County Expo Center from 5-8pm. Click here for more info!
