Nothing is worse than finding Legos in the middle of the night... with your feet.  I know what you're thinking; "Stefani, you are 33-years-old and you have no children.  How are you finding Legos on your floor?"  To that, I simply say, mind yo business.

Anyway.  There was always that threat in my house growing up; if my mother stepped on a Lego, the Lego got thrown out.  Can't blame her.  Sharp plasticy corners protruding from the floor... ghastly little pointy things just waiting to assault the soft parts of your instep.  Just the thought is making my toes curl.

So, what can be done?  How can Legos and feet ever coexist?  The company that makes the offending (and wonderfully enjoyable) blocks just created a slipper to assist you in the midnight search. An article on the slippers says, "The bright yellow-and-red slippers have a crazy amount of padding to protect your toes from even the most vicious of Legos. On top of that, they’re interchangeable — you can wear either slipper on either foot, which is super convenient for when you need to get them on and cross that Lego-infested room NOW."

It's baby-steps, people... comfy, padded baby-steps to a much easier late-night walk to the refrigerator.

Happy walking!
