Those looking for a place to take their dirt bikes, ATVs and SUVs off-roading will have a new park to visit in southeast Michigan in 2020.

The Detroit Free Press reports that the roughly 113-acre park will open in Groveland and Holly townships next summer.

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources bought the land in 2017 with a $2.9 million grant. Under a recently approved 20-year agreement, Oakland County will maintain and operate the park.

Near Groveland Oaks County Park and Campground, the site consists of former sand and gravel mines for drivers to jump and ride their vehicles.

The park doesn't have a name yet, but planning for its design has begun.
