Heavy Metal madman Ozzy Osbourne recently took to his social media to announce the completion of his thirteenth studio album.

"I’m so happy to let everyone know that I finished my new album this week and delivered it to my label Epic Records,” he says in the post. “I’ll be sharing all the information about the album and its’ upcoming release with you in the next several weeks."

The album is set to be a who's who of legendary rock and metal musicians. It features a plethora of collaborations from artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo and Guns N' Roses bassist Duff McKagan.

Osbourne's ex-Black Sabbath bandmate Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, longtime Ozzy guitarist Zakk Wylde, Jeff Beck, Queens Of The Stone Age's Josh Homme and Pearl Jam's Mike McCready are also featured on the project.

Many of these collaborators were revealed by Smith in an interview on the Talk Is Jericho podcast with Chris Jericho. Elsewhere, Smith said pre-pandemic there was talk of potentially doing a few shows, and he hopes one day that might still happen.

“I hope that Ozzy gets stronger," Smith says. "He’s very prideful and wants to be up there doing his thing and I get it 100 percent. I hope someday just to play any of those songs. It’d be great. He’s the best, man.”
