Pete & Bas are back. After tearing through sold-out show after sold-out show on their 2025 North America tour, the duo returns to the US with unfinished business. What started as a couple of old South London chaps having a laugh, has become a full-scale takeover. Armed with razor-sharp wordplay, heavyweight production and zero filter, the Cockney geezers have been turning packed venues into absolute chaos across the globe. This year, Pete & Bas return to America to finish the job. Brace yourselves.

Their previous tour in October included a stop in Chicago, but this will be their first appearance in Michigan.

So just who are Pete & Bas? According to their Wikipedia, they started out just as a fun idea

The duo consists of two rap artists, Peter (Pete) Bowditch and Basil (Bas) Bellgrave, who are both in their 70s. They are notable for songs such as "The Old Estate", "Dents in a Peugeot", and their debut single, "Shut Ya Mouth”.

How Did Pete & Bas Get Popular?

They released their first single in 2017 with "Shut Ya Mouth". Pete discovered his enjoyment for hip hop after his granddaughter played rap music on his car radio. He shared this with Bas, and they decided it would be fun to release it on YouTube. "Shut Ya Mouth" was an immediate success and went viral, prompting them to begin creating new music.
