The 3rd annual Detroit Red Wings Street Hockey Summer tour is back and is set to stop in eight cities across Michigan including Battle Creek in July.

According to the Red Wings, the tour will kick off Monday, July 16th in Muskegon and go through August 8th with a stop in Detroit.

The tour is set to stop in Battle Creek on Friday, July 20th. It will be in the parking lot of the Meijer on West Columbia.   Each stop of the tour will be a free street hockey clinic for kids ages 7-12.   All skill levels and experience is welcome for the clinic.

There will be two sessions with the younger kids beginning at 10 a.m.  The older group will be at 1 p.m.  The sessions will be instructed by Red Wings reps and local players and coaches.

Each session will also include a pick up game following the clinic.    To be apart of the event you must register your child in advance here.

For those that participate there will be a free t shirt and exclusive merchandise and prizes.
