So far it's been a down year for the Detroit Red Wings.  Tonight before their game against Buffalo, they will look back and  honor one of their recent Stanley Cup championships.

According to the Red Wings,  during a pregame ceremony the team will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1997 championship.  That was the season when they beat the Philadelphia Flyers to hoist the Stanley Cup winning the series four games to none.

The ceremony will be featured before the game between the Wings and Sabres which will be at 7:30 tonight on Fox Sports Detroit.
