Railroad Crossing On Drake To Be Closed Beginning 6-19

One of the busiest stretches of roads in the Kalamazoo area is Drake between Stadium Drive and KL Avenue. If you drive that route regularly you may have to make some changes beginning Monday, June 19th.

According to M-Live, the crossing on Drake near KL will be closed for a week beginning on the 19th at 7 a.m. The asphalt on the crossing is set to be replaced.

If you drive this area regular it is suggested to either take US-131 to get around it or use Howard Street.

Once the work is done it should make for a smoother crossing. This is just one of a few crossings that will see repair around town this summer.
