Ribfests Remembered 2

I believe it was my first Ribfest. (I'm not sure due to time, my age and the amount of alcohol consumed that night.)  They held a "celebrity" Best Ribs In Kalamazoo and the only people I remember competing against were channel 3's Judy Markee and former Loy Norrix stand out Tico Duckett.

Everybody claimed to have a secret ingredient in their sauce.  Mine was a little bit of orange juice to make the Open Pit a little sweeter.  As it turned out, I finished second to Judy and for years claimed I won.  A few years ago at a party Judy heard me telling the story and proceeded to rip me a new one with the truth.  I told her: "Hey!  I was "Wishful Lying"!!!
