One of Michigan’s biggest and coolest Christmas light displays is now up and ready to bring some holiday fun to families all over Michigan.

The Big Bright Light show in downtown Rochester is in its 20th annual year, and as downtown Rochester explains, this is a show and display unlike anything in the entire state.

For the last 20 years, every business in downtown Rochester has been adorned with thousands of lights, each building and business with its own color pattern, and it’s been a staple attraction ever since they first launched it.

There is a video below showing someone doing a drive-through in downtown Rochester during the show. You’ll want to make sure that if you plan on doing some shopping, you get there a little early, though, as every shop in downtown Rochester has its own hours for the holidays.

Although the lights stay on until midnight, it doesn’t mean the businesses have extended their hours to accommodate those who choose to go later in the night to enjoy the lights. Although it is a very cool drive, make sure you have a plan to get into these shops early so you don’t miss out on shopping.
