Help Raise $50,000 For Vital Community Programs This November
In 2024,107.7 RKR launched its first-ever Rocker to the Rescue Radiothon to support Catholic Charities in Southwest Michigan. The Rocker is excited to announce that we will once again be returning to Presidential Brewing Company on Friday, November 21, from sunup till sundown as we partner with Catholic Charities Diocese of Kalamazoo to raise money to help benefit those in need in southwest Michigan.
This year we have an extra-large goal in mind. This year, Catholic Charities Diocese of Kalamazoo is celebrating its 50th year, and we would like to help raise $50,000 this year to celebrate.

But where does the money that we raise go to?
All of the money that is raised with the rocker to the rescue radio on we’ll go directly to Catholic charities which hosts a number of programs to help people in Southwest Michigan, including Ark Services for the Youth, Bread of Life food pantry, Baraga Manor, which provides housing for seniors in mobile-impaired individuals, Bridges, Caring Network, Home Heating Assistance, and Immigration Assistance.
Every year, the generous donations from the community help save people’s lives here in Southwest Michigan.
Every morning on the Rocker Morning Show at 7:40, we will check in with one of the organizations under the Catholic Charities umbrella to better understand what they do and how we can help.
