Rockford Woman's Lottery Win Means More Daydreaming For Us

I'm sorry, but I can't help but be jealous, even if it is an element of pure luck.

Dawn Force's story is one many of us can relate to.

At some point the stress of struggling gets to be enough, whether is something like a pandemic or something personal.

In Force's case, everything changed one morning in Rockford. “Every morning on my way to work, I stop for a pop and grab a Lottery ticket,” Force told the Lottery. “When I got to work that morning, I scratched the ticket in the parking lot. I couldn’t stop shaking when I revealed the ‘4MIL’ symbol."

That's a nice problem to have - composing yourself after a $4 million dollar lottery win.

Here's where my paranoia would kick in. Force says she drove back to the gas station to scan the ticket. Of course, you have to do that, but I don't think I'd let anyone know why I was scanning a ticket. I might even hire a guard, just in case. But it's all good.

The Lottery says she took the up-front money, which is $2.5 Million rather than an annuity that pays the whole $4 Million. She's says she'll pay bills and help family.
