This weekend, Jeep owners will be invading Silver Lake Sand Dunes off of Lake Michigan to celebrate 10 years of their Jeep invasion tradition.
Every year, hundreds of Jeep owners take their jeeps to the sand dunes for an event filled with food trucks, giveaways, vendors, and even a Jeep parade to celebrate their love of their favorite brand.

A recent press release details the event and what goes into this off-road adventure:

The Silver Lake Sand Dunes Jeep Invasion is gearing up for its biggest year yet as the event celebrates its 10th anniversary May 28–31, 2026, at the iconic Silver Lake Sand Dunes in West Michigan. What began as a grassroots gathering of Jeep enthusiasts has grown into one of the Midwest’s premier Jeep events, attracting hundreds of Jeeps and thousands of attendees from across the country for four days of off-road adventure, community connection, and family-friendly fun.

Board President Dan Kolosci talked about what the event means for Jeep owners and the community in general:

This event has always been about more than just Jeeps; it’s about bringing people together, building friendships, and creating memories that keep families and enthusiasts coming back year after year.

Just attending the event can be life-changing, according to Vice President Derrick Meyer:

You can show up knowing nobody, and by the end of the weekend, you’ve made lifelong friends. That sense of community is what makes this event special.
