Sleeping Bear Dunes Named One Of The World’s Best Beaches

One of the great national parks in the state of Michigan is Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.  Recently it was named as one of the best beaches in the world. 

According to the story at M-Live,  National Geographic named Sleeping Bear Dunes as one of its 21 best beaches in the world.

The reason it was named a part of this list is, the freshwater and the great overall views of Lake Michigan.

Not only are there beaches but also plenty of places to camp and hike around the dunes.

If you have never had the chance to go there it is another gem of our state you need to see in your lifetime.  It is located outside of Empire, which is west of Traverse City.
