My long-time friend Chris Karpinski and his fellow comedian Nate Tilka stopped by the Rocker Morning Show to tell us about Comedy Night at Louie's downtown Kalamazoo this Saturday night. And we found out that stand up comedy is alive & well and happening all over S.W. Michigan.

I used to host comedy nights at clubs in N.E. Ohio when I was working at WONE in Akron, OH and K-Rock in Youngstown, OH. and had to endure my share of hecklers. Here are my top 5 lines I used to get them to stop heckling...

1. "I'm sorry I was talking. What were you saying?"

2. "I remember when I had my first beer."

3. "The crowd paid to hear one of us talk. Which one of us do you think that was?"

4. "Go ahead. I can wait!"

5. Shut the F#%K Up!!!
