The K-Wings Have announced in conjunction with the ECHL, that the Stanley Cup will be touring Kalamazoo in February.  The Cup will be in town as part of the 2016 CCM/ECHL Hockey Heritage week.

The trophy, awarded to the champion of the National Hockey League, and often revered as the most prestigious in sports, will arrive in the afternoon on Monday, February 1, and make stops at Bronson Children’s Hospital, and Bronson Sports Medicine, before a general viewing at Old Burdick’s Wings West for those who have purchased tickets for either of the games on February 5 or 6 against the Toledo Walleye.

Day two of the tour features Lord Stanley’s Cup paying a visit to local radio stations and other media outlets before arriving at Wings Event Center for the final general viewing opportunity for those coming to either the February 5 or 6 game.

It is the first time since 2012 that the Stanley Cup will grace Kalamazoo and Wings Event Center, and fans are encouraged to bring their own cameras for personal photos with the trophy or utilize the professional photographer who will be made available for photos.
