‘Star Trek’ Star, George Takei To Appear At Motor City Comic Con

Motor City Comic Con is celebrating 30 years and are lining up some big names for this years show.   Another big name has been announced as George Takei will be at the show.

According to the story from M-Live, George Takei is scheduled to be at two days of the event that runs May 17th through May 19th.  The actor is best known for playing Sulu on the original "Star Trek".

Takei is scheduled to be one of the many celebrities in attendance that will sign autographs and take pictures with fans.

Other names that have been announced so far include, Rainn Wilson,  Barry Williams, Neve Campbell, Lori Petty, Pauly Shore and Charlie Hunnam.   WWE Superstars Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio are also scheduled to appear.

More names will be announced before the event in May.   The event will once again take place at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi in May.  Besides celebrities the event features merchandise, comic book writers and artists and much more.
