‘The Karate Kid’ Returns To Theaters For 35th Anniversary Screenings
One of the best movies from the 1980's is coming back to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
According to Fathom Events, "The Karate Kid" is coming back to theaters across the country for two days.
The movie is set to be shown at participating theaters on Sunday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 2nd.
The original film starred Ralph Macchio and featured Pat Morita as Mr. Miyagi. It was originally released back in the summer of 1984.
Locally you will be able to see the movie on Sunday, March 31st at Celebration Cinema Crossroads in Portage. It will also be in Grand Rapids at Celebration Cinema Rivertown.
The special screening is scheduled to have a special intro from stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka.
The anniversary screening will also include an upcoming preview of season 2 of the show, "Cobra Kai". The show features Macchio and Zabka as older versions of their characters and is featured on YouTube Premium.
