Steve’s Raider Stomp

While at Honor Credit Union in Decatur today, I met Bob Smola, the Cross Country coach at Decatur High School.  He told us about a great event this Saturday in Decatur: Steve's Raider Stomp.

It's the 10th annual and new this year is a half mile fun run, along with new age groups for the 5K walk, 5K run and 10K run.  Funds raised go to the continued success of the Decatur Raider Track & Cross Country Programs including scholarship opportunities.

It's a very well organized race geared toward runners getting fast times, top quality awards and doing so without spending the whole day.
